Paul Bunyan Nurseries
Paul Bunyan Nurseries is a tree health care and nursery plant specialty company located in the Fargo-Moorhead area. As a new disease was introduced into the area (Emerald Ash Borer Disease, or EAB), Paul Bunyan wanted to get ahead of the curve and inform the public about the options they have to treat EAB, a deadly disease that destroys ash trees all over the world. This spawned a larger conversation around redeveloping their website, and they approached me seeking a solution. I supported Paul Bunyan with a newly designed website that features their company’s visual brand and is highly search engine optimized - they wanted to be at the top of search results as EAB was being introduced to the area.

Being at the top of search results for Emerald Ash Borer was a major goal for the website redesign for Paul Bunyan. To accomplish this, I developed a specific, keyword-heavy landing page for their site focused on ranking high when their audience in the Fargo-Moorhead area is searching this new topic, and leading them to fill out a contact form to get support from Paul Bunyan.
This SEO-rich landing page, combined with internal/external links and a blog post, resulted in Paul Bunyan’s EAB Identification and Treatment page hitting the first page on Google Search results.
